-Where are you located? Do you travel?
I am currently located in Louisville, Kentucky. I also photograph weddings in Cincinnati, Ohio, and throughout Southern Indiana quite often. I am 100% willing to travel for your special day! I love traveling….whether it’s just one state over, across the country, or in a totally different country! If you are within 60 miles of Louisville, Kentucky, travel is included for your wedding! Travel beyond 60 miles of Louisville, Kentucky is .57 cents per additional mile. If you are planning a destination wedding or elopement that is further away….let’s chat! We will figure it out and come up with a special package just for you.
-My wedding is more than an hour away, will there be extra costs?
Possibly! If you live over 2 hours away and your wedding goes past 10:00pm, I will most likely ask for a hotel room. But each and every wedding is different! So let's schedule a consultation and we can chat details!
-What are your wedding packages?
My wedding packages begin at $1,400 and my elopement packages begin at $900. Each and every wedding is unique and different though! Fill out my contact form and I'll email you my Wedding Welcome Guide that contains more info about me, what I do, and my packages and pricing!
-Is there an engagement session included with your wedding packages?
A complimentary engagement session is included with my largest wedding photography package. My other wedding photography packages have discounts on engagement sessions!
-Can I opt-out of the engagement session and get a discount instead?
The engagement session is complimentary and included as a gift. It's there if you want it! But it doesn't cost extra, it just comes with the package. I can't offer a discount on a free gift that you choose not to accept.
-Do you only photograph weddings?
Nope!! I am not just a wedding photographer! I also specialize in Personal branding sessions and Product photography! Check out my portfolio pages to see a sample of my work in each of those categories (and more)!
How does payment work?
For weddings, I require a 20% non-refundable reservation fee at the time of booking. The rest is due 2 weeks before your wedding.
For any other session, I require a 20% non-refundable reservation fee at the time of booking. The rest is due the day of your session.
What happens if I have to cancel or reschedule a photo session?
I always try my hardest to be flexible when it comes to rescheduling photo sessions. So if something comes up, I will try my best to accommodate you! But if for some sad reason a reschedule doesn’t work out and you have to cancel, the 20% reservation fee is non-refundable unfortunately.
-How many photos do you typically deliver?
For a wedding, it depends on how many hours I am booked for! Typically for an 8 hour wedding day, I deliver 500-600 edited photos.
-Do you edit the photos? Will I receive any black and white edits?
Yes! I will go through all of the photos from the wedding, pick out the best ones, edit them, and then send them to you. And yes, I usually include several black and white edits (but only when it fits the motive and looks best). When you book me as your photographer, you are trusting me to use my judgment in regard to what photos from the session look the best! Only the best for you darling.
-Will you Photoshop me?
Most likely, not. I am a lifestyle photographer, so I prefer to capture the moment and photograph your true self! But if you have a huge zit on your face or your arms look a little flabby in a couple of shots….I can easily fix that.
-Would you ever deliver the RAW unedited photos?
Most likely, no. My photography is my art, and editing is a huge part of that. It’s part of what makes my photos stand out from other photographer’s photos….and their photos from the next photographer’s photos….and so on and so forth. Yes, my photos look pretty good straight out of camera, but they are GREAT once I have edited them and made them look as wonderful as possible for you.
-How long will it take for me to get my edited photos?
For weddings, I will deliver your photos via an online gallery within 4-6 weeks.
-Do I need a second shooter?
A second shooter isn't a must. I typically photograph most weddings alone and am very experienced in doing so. But if having a second shooter makes you more comfortable, for an additional $200, you can add one to any wedding or elopement package!
-What happens if you can’t photograph our wedding?
I hate even typing out that question! It makes me sad! For me not to be able to photograph your wedding, I would have to be in bed deathly sick, in the hospital, or because of some sort of family emergency. But don’t freak out! I have other wonderful and talented photographer friends that would be more than capable of jumping in and photographing your wedding in my place! I would pass on all of the details and info about your special day and they would fit right in! After the wedding, they would give me the RAW photos, and I would edit them. No biggie!
-What happens if the weather is bad?
Well….here in the Midwest….that is definitely bound to happen!
If it’s raining on your wedding day, don’t fret! I know it’s not preferable….but we can work with the rain, take photos indoors, or use umbrellas and still get amazing photos! Don’t let the rain get you down and don’t stress!
-Can we meet before booking?
Of course! If you are within an hour from me, I would love to meet for coffee or lunch and answer any questions you have regarding booking a wedding or personal branding session with me! If you are further than that, we can always Zoom, Skype or Facetime!

A personal branding session is in a category all its own. It's more than a typical portrait session.... yet isn't quite a commercial shoot. It doesn't necessarily focus on the product you sell, but instead focuses on your business and brand as a whole.... especially the face of the business...YOU! Yes yes yes! I absolutely do! In fact, I offer a package that has travel included...making it super easy and stress-free!
